Bad luck training.
Season 29 to 33
EEO came back and scored a few points in lower Div's using the old riders. Some were sold so there was a base to train new riders. The regional focus was a bit Latin America at first. However, the training was rather unsuccessful.
A few of the major bummers:
Travis Lauritsen: VG TT, VG TQ, FR AVG: 220 TT minimum! Max at 41
Sancho Balbi: VG HL, VG SP, Max at 41
Nacho Montana, INC SP, Small FR, AVG TQ - maxed at 40
Leon Ndleha - maxed at 37
Rehani Bizimana VG CL, good DH, small HL and good FR - maxed at 37
Verna Ernesta, Max at 42
Some riders maxed OK - around 45, but before reaching their full potential, so I could establish a position between Div 1 (no chance whatsoever) and 3.
Scouting to find these outstanding talents was expensive, but training them to be pretty poor TM's was even more....
As can be seen from the talents I decided to go for Africa. I started in Tour de Haute Normandie and some of the CB classics with an all African team.
However, Africa has plenty of countries and several managers decided to do the same so I decided to go back to the "roots" to the time when managing EEO was really fun.
